LOCAL RESTORE OPTION
With the Local Restore Option, a of all data being backed up to the Fortress Storage Center is stored locally on the network. In the event of
a disaster, simply restore the latest snapshot.

BARE METAL RESTORE
The bare metal restore capability allows administrators to quickly recover lost, damaged or corrupted data in a highly streamlined fashion to any bare metal system (at any location throughout the enterprise) without having
to manually reinstall operating systems or configure hardware prior to use. Bare metal restore allows administrators to restore the complete system on new hardware – regardless of manufacturer – including local data, user profiles, registry/system state, service packs and encrypted files.

MASSIVE DATA REDUCTION TECHNOLOGY (DRT)
DRT can reduce storage requirements by several magnitudes, in some cases, delivering in excess of 20X compression. DRT is designed to reduce data down to its raw essentials. Unlike traditional compression, which typically reduces data to half of its previous size.

ENCRYPTION
Digitiliti eliminates the costs, complexity and security issues associated with tape-based backups. Customers can choose from 8 to 256 bit encryption.
